IDEA project presented in Málaga to inspire young girls to consider careers in technology, entrepreneurship and innovation


Within the framework of Erasmus+ IDEA, Internet Web Solutions together with its associated partner Arrabal-AID, hosted an online course on October 7, 2020 exploring how to enhance teenagers girls entrepreneurship aptitude through digital skills.
As part of a Spaniard educational programme including seminars, practical workshops, plenary sessions as a direct response to the Action Plan on Digital Education adopted by the European Commission in January 2018, IWS presented IDEA project objectives that perfect share the goal to support the use of technology and the development of digital skills in education across Europe. More specifically, Roberta Albertazzi from IWS focuses on action related to digital and business skills training for girls, which addresses the gender digital divide in the entrepreneurship sector.
The interactive event gathered around 16 participants who were enthusiastic and encouraged to partecipate actively. Initially the project was designed to be carried out in person, but due to the situation created by COVID-19, it has been run online exploiting maximum impact in terms of online learning and digital skills.
